The donation of gently worn suits came from members of the 206th Session of the Basic School, who wear them at times during their six-month training.
On hand to deliver the suits was academy training officer and former C-RHS teacher Lauren Warner. Warner, a trooper of more than five years now, also graduated from C-RHS.
Students in ETC get employment training and work experience at C-RHS and in the community. They prepare for and participate in mock job interviews, and the suits will be perfect for practice.
“We couldn’t have much of a program at all without community partnerships,” said C-RHS Special Education teacher and ETC coordinator Colleen Williams. “It was wonderful for Lauren to keep us in mind when donating the suits.”
“It feels really good to be able to give back to a school I love so much,” said Warner.
“It’s nice to see good things happen,” said Williams. “And in this community, good things seem to happen a lot.”
