Petitions due April 22 for Board of Education election

Residents interested in being a candidate for a seat on the Cobleskill-Richmondville Board of Education may obtain nominating petition forms at the District Office during regular office hours of 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday through Friday.

Petitions must bear the signature of at least 25 registered district voters and be received by the District Clerk by 5 p.m. on Monday, April 22, 2019.

There are two seats for 3-year terms to be filled.  They are the positions currently held by Mary Black and Margaret Pryor, whose terms will expire June 30, 2019.

Voting for board of education candidates, propositions, and the district’s 2019-2020 school budget will be held on Tuesday, May 21, 2019.
