Petitions Due April 17 for Board of Education Election

Residents interested in being a candidate for a seat on the Cobleskill-Richmondville Board of Education may obtain nominating petition forms at the District Office during regular office hours of 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday through Friday.

Petitions must bear the signature of at least 25 registered district voters and be received by the District Clerk by 5 p.m. on Monday, April 17, 2017.

There are three seats for 3-year terms to be filled in the May 16, 2017 election.  They are the positions currently held by Steven Philbrick, Susan Emerson Strasser, and Bruce Tryon, whose terms will expire June 30, 2017.

Voting for board of education candidates, propositions, and the district’s 2017-18 school budget will be held on Tuesday, May 16, 2017 in both the William H. Golding Middle School in Cobleskill and the Joseph B. Radez School in Richmondville.
