On Saturday June 28, 126 graduates were awarded their high school diplomas at Cobleskill-Richmondville High School. The students marked the occasion surrounded by family and friends, faculty and staff, and the board of education.
Class valedictorian Steven Maniscalco and salutatorian Johanna Mollitor delivered commencement addresses. In addition, guest speaker Dr. Steven Rosscoe (C-RHS ’99), who served as class president for the first class to graduate from the new C-R High School, reflected on the past 20 years and how great an impact C-RHS had on his life trajectory.
Superintendent Carl Mummenthey challenged the graduates to “confront the unknown, tackle the unfamiliar, learn, and grow” as they embarked upon the next chapters of their lives. He thanked the graduates for their many contributions at Cobleskill-Richmondville—in academics as well as co-curricular and extracurricular activities.
We salute our graduates and wish them every success as they pursue their hopes and dreams!
