C-R bowler rolls second highest game at sectionals

Jeremiah Lawyer rolled the second-highest game at the Section II Class B championships, posting a 279.

Cobleskill-Richmondville High School’s Jeremiah Lawyer rolled the second-highest game at the Section II Class B boys’ bowling championships, posting a 279, on Monday, Feb. 10, at Boulevard Bowl in Schenectady.

Lawyer was just one pin off from the day’s highest total, a 280 rolled by his friend, David Squires of Schalmont High School.

As a team, the Bulldogs finished with a score of 5,088.

Lawyer, along with teammate Liam Kane, were named Colonial Council Second-Team All-Stars for their efforts during the season.
