At C-R, you don’t have to eat alone

February 19, 2019

Last week, the Agents of Positive Change were on the case.

The Agents (formerly the Acceptance Club) made sure that students connected with one another in an effort to make C-RHS an even more friendly and welcoming place.

Their activities stemmed from No One Eats Alone Day, a national event targeted to end social isolation in schools. The Agents of Positive Change planned a three-day event to celebrate. On Wednesday, members of the HS band performed for our students during lunch.

The Agents also handed out lollipops in pairs – one for the student and one for a new friend – and the following day included more music and games

Students were also asked to make a commitment to making C-RHS a better place, and filled out a heart or a leaf asking how they can help ensure that all students at C-R feel welcomed and accepted. They were then entered into a raffle with prizes donated from the Booster Club and C-RHS’ own coffee shop, Cool Beanz!
