Shelter in place at C-RHS Thursday, Dec. 1

December 1, 2016

At approximately 11:30 this morning, Thursday, Dec. 1, the Cobleskill-Richmondville Central School District implemented a shelter-in-place at the high school due to a low-level threat that was reported to the main office.

The threat was deemed by district officials to be low-level in accordance with our safety assessment procedures, and we have notified law enforcement and asked them to assess the situation.

Their investigation is ongoing, and we are maintaining our shelter-in-place protocol.

The safety and security of our students and staff is always our highest priority.
