Congratulations to 7th grader Spencer O’Neil for successfully spelling the word “premonition” and taking the crown at this year’s Spelling Bee at Golding Middle School!

“I think I’m such a good speller because I have a terrible memory,” said Spencer, adding that he has to think very deliberately about the spelling of every word.

Congratulations to all of our competitors, and good luck to Spencer in the Capital Region Spelling Bee.

The 36th Annual Capital Region Spelling Bee will be held on Tuesday, Feb. 13, 2018 at Proctors Theatre in Schenectady.
