Red Cross establishes emergency shelter at Golding

Red Cross has established an emergency shelter at Golding Middle
School/Ryder Elementary School in the
The National Guard is present at Golding, using the school as its command post while being deployed for service in the region. F.E.M.A. is NOT on site at Golding Middle School.
The Red Cross shelter at Golding provides food, water, clothing, toiletries, beds, laundry facilities and first aid. Television and Internet access is available. There is a larger selection of games available in the cafeteria and toys of all sorts can be found in the middle school library.
Volunteers are needed to help at the shelter. For anyone wishing to lend a hand, please register by the main office in Golding Middle School. Shifts are available around the clock.
