Golding Middle School celebrates ‘No Name Calling Week’

Students at Golding Middle School celebrated kindness with “No Name-Calling Week,” from January 16 to 20.

The week, initiated by the Gay, Lesbian and Straight Education Network (GLSEN), supports efforts to create safe schools free of name-calling, bullying and bias.

Winning posters are:

  • 1st place: Victoria Ruenes
  • 2nd place – Saige Chindano
  • 3rd place – Angelyse Serrano

Honorable mention goes to:

  • Lyndsy Bilby
  • Natasha Hitchcock
  • Alex Schroeder

“A special congratulations to all who participated in the poster contest,” said Assistant Middle School Principal Jeffrey Klenk. “You helped support the important cause of no name calling and no bullying in our middle school.”
