Community advisory regarding incident at C-RHS

Today, Friday, May 6, a C-RHS student was arrested by New York State Police for bringing 12-gram CO2 cartridges to school and threatening violence against others in the school.

C-RHS officials were alerted to this threat early this morning and acted swiftly to investigate the matter and contact law enforcement, who arrested the student and removed the student from the premises.

The school was not placed in lockdown or shelter in place during this time.

The safety and well-being of our students, staff, and visitors is always our top priority, and our response to this morning’s incident affirms our commitment to a safe, secure learning environment for all.
