A note on extreme weather conditions

January 7, 2015

As a result of the weather forecast for the balance of this week, and possibly into next week, this notice is a reminder to parents of the importance of providing children with appropriate outerwear during these extreme weather conditions. This applies to both younger and older students in an effort to prevent exposure which could lead to frostbite and/or hypothermia.

Please make sure your children are dressed in layers, have hats and gloves/mittens, and have a shelter plan in place in the event the bus is not on time so that they are not exposed to the elements for an extended period of time.
